Progress

Progress on the project is slow, very slow currently.

I’ve currently hit a brick wall and have been sat at the computer for properly around 2 hours now just thinking about not a lot and running out of other things to do – so it looks like I’ll be back onto the PHP sooner than I thought.

Just think it’ll all be over on Thursday – which is both a good thing and bad thing as it means that the deadline is fast approaching, faster than I want it to! Nevermind, it shall be done – if i don’t throw myself out the window first hahaha.

After the fairly successful virtual lecture last week, and at the request of Joe, I have posted a snapshot of my avatar.

As you would expect, it looks nothing like me! I for one do not have pink hair, spikey yes, pink no. I just thought it would be funny to have it like that. The hair combined with the slightly camp looking tank top…I’m doing well for myself dontcha think?!

Authorship – Start of Year 2!

So this post has been a LONG time coming. I thought it was about time that I got a blog entry out onto the web again, seeing as I had been waiting for my house internet connection to go live (this took 2 months!) and now it has I don’t really have an excuse not to write it!

Also it distracts me from my project a lil bit more everyone’s a winner. Hahaha!

Anyway, blog. So yeah welcome back to the uni year. I MADE IT. Hard to believe but my [lack of] hard work paid off. I’ve finally started this project as well, a little late you might say, but better late than never. It is starting to hit me just how much work there is left to do – and its a pretty scary thought! Still, perseverance pays off in the long run.

On a positive note I have my CV sorted. I had one before starting uni, however, it was 4 pages long i.e WAY too long for the needs of our media work placement. So after a nice brutal meeting with Karen in the GES it is now looking all pretty and streamlined! Its my fault for having done too many things in a short space of time!

That is about all I have to fill you in with for now. Although I am determined to start blogging more frequently. I know I said that last year and it lasted a couple of months, but I do intend to do it! In fact, I can feel another one coming on right now…!
